This Blazer was a Top 10 winner in the Off-Road category at the 2024 SEMA Battle of the Builders and was featured in Classic Truck Performance magazine.Under the hood is where things get serious.Power comes from a 650-horsepower supercharged LT4 V8, paired with GMs 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission. With approximately 1,100 test miles, this Blazer has been built, sorted and drivennot simply assembled to sit under show lights. The foundation is a Roadster Shop Legend Series chassis featuring GM factory independent front suspension with a GM front differential and axle shafts, Fox adjustable coilovers, power rack-and-pinion steering and a GM 12-bolt Positraction rear axle with 3.42 gears. Deaver rear leaf springs and Fox shocks complete the suspension package. The body is equally special. Rather than beginning with a tired 50-plus-year-old shell, this build utilizes a new Premier Street Rod all-steel Blazer body topped with a Premier double-wall fiberglass hardtop. The combination is expertly finished in a gorgeous custom two-tone PPG Light Blue and Silver that perfectly complements the classic K5 design.Inside, the craftsmanship continues with a stunning Ivory Gray high-end leather interior by Velocity. Dakota Digital instrumentation brings modern precision to the cockpit, while Vintage Air, a Flaming River tilt steering column, Sparc Industries steering wheel and Lokar shifter combine vintage style with modern comfort and functionality.BUILD HIGHLIGHTS2024 SEMA Battle of the Builders Top 10 Off-RoadFeatured in Classic Truck Performance MagazineBuilt by Premier Street Rod Lake Havasu City, ArizonaCollaboration with Roadster ShopAll-New Premier Street Rod Steel Blazer BodyPremier Double-Wall Fiberglass Hardtop650HP Supercharged LT4 V8GM 8L90 8-Speed Automatic TransmissionRoadster Shop Legend Series ChassisGM Factory Independent Front SuspensionGM Front Differential & Axle ShaftsFox Adjustable CoiloversPower Rack & Pinion SteeringDeaver Rear Leaf SpringsFox Rear ShocksGM 12-Bolt Positraction Rear Axle3.42 Rear Gear Ratio13-Inch GM Silverado Front Disc Brakes12-Inch Rear Disc BrakesStainless-Steel Brake LinesVibrant Performance ExhaustHitch ReceiverAir-Ride Helper Bag & Compressor SystemCustom Two-Tone PPG Light Blue & SilverHigh-End Ivory Gray Leather Interior by VelocityDakota Digital GaugesVintage AirFlaming River Tilt Steering ColumnSparc Industries Steering WheelLokar ShifterAmerican Autowire HarnessPrecision Weather Strip ProductsApproximately 1,100 Test MilesThis is what happens when one of the most desirable vintage SUVs ever built is recreated without compromise. From its 650HP supercharged LT4 and Roadster Shop Legend Series chassis to its custom PPG finish and beautifully executed leather interior, virtually every aspect of this K5 was engineered and finished at a level worthy of its SEMA recognition. It has the iconic presence of a vintage 1971 K5 Blazer, the power and drivability of a modern performance vehicle, and the craftsmanship of a true showpiece.SEMA pedigree. 650 supercharged horsepower.
