INSANE BUILD!Nicknamed ''Renn'' and riding on a Roadster Shop RS4 chassis, this Hogan Built 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is powered by a 525hp 6.2-liter LS3 engine backed by a Hughes 4L80 4-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood features an Avalanche-colored engine that has been upfitted with a Holley intake manifold, 14-inch air cleaner and vintage Chevrolet valve covers with hidden coil packs. Keeping the drivability a top priority, a CPP hydro-boost system was installed, along with a DeWitts radiator and a CVF front drive system. The Roadster Shop RS4 chassis features upgraded 13-inch Baer brakes, oversized sway bar links, triangulated front and rear 4-links, Currie high-pinion axles with 4.56 gears, 20-way adjustable Fox 2.0 coilovers, Fox hydraulic bump stops and a 24-way adjustable Fox steering stabilizer. Dispersing the power through the chassis is a twin-stick Atlas transfer case. A 3-inch fully polished stainless-steel exhaust has been fabricated and completely TIG-welded utilizing V-band clamps and four MagnaFlow mufflers. Before marrying the '72 K5 body to the chassis, the body was completely sandblasted, metalworked and bodyworked and shows the result of a concours-worthy refinish shining bright in Omaha Orange.The topless exterior features a pair of Hogan Built shorty bedrail caps. The rear bumper has been cut, sectioned, TIG-welded and re-chromed, giving this Blazer an OEM look. Behind the custom rear bumper, it features a fully TIG-welded custom-made spare tire swing carrier that has been engineered and designed to fit and function perfectly. This K5 rides on 17-inch KMC beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich tires. Contrasting with the exterior is the Bone White CST Highlander interior, featuring K5 Orange Plaid seat inserts and a TIG-welded OEM-style roll bar. Keeping the interior comfortable is an all-new Vintage Air system and new tilt steering column. Classic instrument gauges have been installed, along with all-new dash components and a full American Autowire harness. The audio system includes a RetroSound head unit, four 6-inch infinity speakers and two 10-inch JL subwoofers that play through the 1,000-watt amplifier. All this sound is enhanced by Dynamat sound-deadener and insulation throughout. If you are seeking the best built by the best, you just found your new car. Earth Motorcars is excited to offer this amazing: 1970 Chevrolet K5 Blazer custom is the product of over 1,500 hours invested in a complete frame-off build. The body was stripped from top to bottom and all metalwork was completed and epoxy primed. U-Pol Raptor protective coating was applied to the floor. Dynamat insulation on the inside floor provides additional sound and heat control. The entire body, including the underside, is finished with AXALTA urethane paint. The frame, radiator support, inner fenders and axles are finished with a powder-coat. This Blazer is powered by a new GM LS3 430hp engine mated to a 4L75E automatic overdrive transmission with the original NP-205 transfer case. Upgrades include a stainless-steel exhaust system, complete with polished headers, a Holley Sniper intake and a polished front-runner system by Vintage Air. The engine is cooled by a DeWitts aluminum radiator. The fuel tank is stainless steel from Rick's Hot Rods and includes a new, original GM fuel pump. The vehicle was upgraded with NOS front and rear axles from GM, featuring disc brakes on the front axle and GM posi-traction on the rear axle. This Blazer rides on a 4-inch lift kit, complete with Fox shocks and all new leaf springs, with 11 leaves per spring for a softer ride. Power steps have been installed.Riding on Goodyear tires mounted on Mickey Thompson wheels, with the braking handled by a Hydro-Vac brake booster system. Upgrades include a powder-coated custom steel roll bar with shoulder harness seat belts and a removable hardtop for an all-season ride. The interior includes all-new upholstery, carpet and weatherstripping. The comfort is handled by a Vintage Air system. The dashboard includes a Dakota Digital RTX instrument cluster and a reproduction AM/FM stereo. For safety, LED headlights and taillights were installed.
