Presented in exceptional condition, this Esprit V8 is an example of the pinnacle of Lotus' supercar development. Launched in 1996, the Esprit V8 uses Lotus' own Type 918 V8 all-aluminium 90 DOHC 4 valves per cylinder flat-plane crankshaft engine, sporting two turbochargers. The engine was detuned from a potential 500 hp to 350 hp and has proved to be durable and reliable. This car has real supercar performance, sprinting from 0-60 in just over four seconds and powering on to a top speed of 175 mph. Presented in stunning Lotus Racing Green paint, the coachwork has a deep shine and is virtually unmarked. This car has benefitted from careful usage and a full maintenance schedule throughout its life. The originality of the immaculate interior is matched by the visual feast of the V8 engine, which is in excellent order.
The only departure from its standard specification is the new Alpine stereo head unit but the original unit is supplied with the car.
